| So I realize it has been a while since I have updated my blog. I am about to start a new job! I am very excited about it. It is an administrative/ data entry position for a company that outsources insurance claims for commercial companies.
The apartment is going well. I feel like I am never there (hopefully something that will be remedied with the new job). I am still looking for a roommate though. I think I may have one, but things are not definite.
Recently things have been rough but I trust God and know that everything is to His Will and I am not in control. My friend, Ray passed away at the age of 28 from cancer. He will be missed so much and the pain that has come from his absence will never be completely healed. But I have faith that God work was complete in Ray and it was his time. And I know that someday Ray and I along with our friends will be able to stand around the throne and worship Our God.
My friend Isaac leaves for Mexico on Monday and we are not sure on his return. His wife Amanda is 9 months pregnant, so it is most likely that Baby Alana will come after her father leaves. I can't imagine what they are going through, but again we go back to their trust in God as a couple and as individuals. Isaac will be missed in his absence, I know he will do wonders in Mexico with his family.
As for me personally things have been a bit bumpy, but I trust God. Things with my future have been up in the air- job, finances, etc. Bryan is an incredible boyfriend and I love the time we spend together. He is a great encouragement to my faith and that means SO much.
I don't have anything else to say, but please pray for those around me- Ray's family, Isaac and Amanda, and others I don't have time to write about now. I will try to be better about posting in the future, but I must admit I am more of a phone person.

| I am not one prone to express sad emotion. I hardly ever cry, no matter how sad the movie or moving the song. I am usually a fairly pleasant person to be around and I like to make people laugh. But today I am filled with emotion. It is definitely something I am not used to.
Yeah, I have a lot going on and things not going the way I'd like them. Yes, I am stressed or whatever, but this is not about me.
It's about Him. Sometimes I cannot understand what goes on in life. Why I can live in comfort, while others suffer. Why one man lives to 98 and another dies at 19. This is what causes my heart to hurt. Pain and suffering for others. I am usually able to let things just role off, but today I am
I have to face that no matter what, whether I understand it or not- He is in control. I have surrendered my life to Him, just as many have. I continually have to give up my control and let Him lead. And to be satisfied with the outcome. No pity because I did not get my way. It's all for His glory, not mine.
